When Can You Enroll?
Initial Enrollment Period (IEP)
When you first qualify for Medicare (typically around age 65). Your IEP is the 7-month window that starts 3 months before your 65th birthday month, includes your birthday month, and continues for 3 months after.
Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
October 15 – December 7 every year. This is when you can change your Medicare Advantage or Part D plan. Changes take effect January 1.
Special Enrollment Period (SEP)
If you qualify due to certain life events (moving, losing other coverage, etc.), you may have a Special Enrollment Period. We'll review your situation to see if you qualify.
